It is 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday evening here in Guangzhou. We leave at 5:45 a.m. Thursday to fly to Beijing. We leave Beijing at 4 p.m. and arrive in Chicago at 4:15 p.m. No... it is NOT a fifteen minute flight as it appears. :) We wish. It's actually 13 hours! We do gain 13 hours, however. So, hopefully that will help with the jetlag we will experience. This is our last blog comment in China. The journey has been wonderful and a great experience we soon won't forget. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement during our trip. Please pray for our safe travels back to the states. I will do my best to keep the blog up to date when we get home. At the least, I will update some photos. There were many pictures that did not go through. Not sure what was up with that. There is a typhoon headed here, so we are so thankful to be leaving before the weekend. Some may be delayed. Please pray for those families. I know most are eager to get home as well.
We'll see some of you Thursday evening at 8:33 p.m. central time!!! WOO HOO!!!
Love,
The Franks' (Greg, Kim, Kailey, Brady and Ruthey)
I cannot wait until you all are home! see you ALL Thursday!
ReplyDeleteYeah!!! We will be praying for safe and easy travels for you on your way home. :) Glad you will be getting out before that storm hits, and praying the other families do too. We are so happy for you, and can't wait to see picture of that Homecoming in Huntsville!!! I wish so much we could have been there to welcome you home too, but know that we are there in spirit!!!
ReplyDeleteLove and prayers-
Kimberly, Roger, Riley and Kyle :)
I have truly enjoyed your blog! Hope you continue! Prayers for safe travel. Love, kay
ReplyDeleteLove Ruthey's outfit for the 'Red Couch Photo!' Can't wait to meet you all when you are home. :0)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful welcome home from The Ritchart family in Clarksville!! Kelly Henry sent me your blog address and we so enjoyed your blog (especially the pics).
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family you are! Our fam of four just returned from China with Mei (July 10). She was in Nanning (born 6-1-2009) — all of your pics of Guangzhou look so familiar:-)
Wishing you all the very best re-entry into "real" life at home and wishing you very minimal jet-lag (which we all thought was most unenjoyable).
Sincerely,
Amy Ritchart
